XIU Programming
NOTE: All programming is stored in nonvolatile memory, which means that if
the panel loses power the XIU programming will remain in memory. To reset
the panel to factory settings enter * 309 *9876543214
This function will dump any alarms that could still be in the buffer. This will not wipe the node memory and reset any
of the reset and programming codes.
To unlock the doors during a Cutband alarm:
1. Enter * 234. The top center LED will blink.

This will only unlock the doors once. If another Cutband alarm occurs, the doors will lock again.

This code should be giving to shift leaders.
To unlock the doors during a Cutband alarm:
1. Enter *751. The top center LED will light up and stay lit until *751 is entered again.

This code should only be giving to security personal, director of nursing or unit manager.
To test the CAN bus connection:
1. Enter *567 *1.
Hold the “1” until the yellow LED blinks.

One blink = not connected properly

Four blinks = communicating to at least one other device.
Software verification blink :
1. Enter *567 *2.
Hold the “2” until yellow LED blinks.
Count the series of beeps. It should be a three or four digit number (software version number) (ten blinks
= 0)
To wipe the node (who is on the CAN bus) :
1. Enter *567 *6. Hold the “6” for one blink.

Press “1”. This will erase the node memory.
To display the number of devices that are communicating to the XIU:
1. Enter *567*6. Hold the “6” for one blink.

Press “2”, you will receive 2 blinks indicating this command was executed. The information for this
command is displayed through the device reader in the Technician Menu of the SCP Software. The
device reader should be operating before this command is executed.
To reset the buffer in the XIU (alarms still in memory):
