3.4 Electrical Connections
Power Connection
The actuator harness contains 6’ leads for power connection.
1.
Connect the black wire to the battery ground, either directly to
the battery terminal or to a ground bus.
2.
Connect the red wire to a 12VDC source through a 20A circuit
breaker or fuse. The preferred source is the engine battery or a
battery switch.
If you need to extend the leads, follow ABYC codes and practices.
SeaStar Solutions recommends a minimum wire size of 10AWG.
