3.3.11.2.
LOW/MID/HI LAT OFFSET (Threshold Offset)
The threshold-offset parameters are an AGC value from 0-255 that is summed to the average noise
floor, to properly calculate the systems tracking signal threshold every time the system is
commanded to Target or Search for a desired satellite.
Example: If the Averaged noise floor is 1100 AGC counts and the Threshold Offset value is 40, the
resultant AGC threshold would be set to 1140 counts, thereby triggering the Tracking status for any
AGC value1141 or higher.

The LOW LAT OFFS parameter defines what threshold offset value parameter is used when
the vessel is located within the Lower Latitude Range.
