STEP 1.

To access the connection ports for the air kit, first remove the ash 

grate, then ash pan from the fireplace. You can access the ash 

grate and pan on the base interior of the appliance.

Please refer to diagram A for reference. 

STEP 2.

Locate the connection for the air kit port after removing the ash 

pan, remove the cover plate by applying medium pressure. Once 

removed you can dispose of this cover. 

Please refer to the diagram B for reference. 

STEP 3.

Locate the outdoor air kit under the base of the appliance and fix 

into place, depending on your particular installation allocate the 

exchange accordingly, see diagram C.1 for reference.

The diagram pictures details the air kit connection options for Axis 

appliances (H1200 3V and EPI950), depending on your particular
