Adding or Deleting Unicast IP Addresses
Up to six (6) static IP routes (groups) can be received by the D9834 receiver to allow
communication with other network devices. These groups are specified along with their
associated Subnet Masks and Gateway Addresses. Presetting the receiver to communi-
cate with other equipment allows the receiver to output IP data for various applications,
such as file transfer or streaming video.
To add unicast IP addresses…
Go to
IP Unicast Setup
and press
OK
to display the Unicast IP
Setup sub-menu.
Press
Add
.
A pop-up window is displayed.
Enter a Unicast IP address using the numerical keys, followed by
the Subnet Mask, and Gateway Address.
Press
OK
to save each address.
If an invalid number is entered, the message “Input value out of
range” is displayed. Once you enter a valid number, you can con-
tinue adding unicast IP addresses for other devices.
To delete Unicast IP addresses…
On
the
Unicast
IP Setup
sub-menu, select
Delete
.
A pop-up window is displayed showing the first IP address in the
list. Scroll through the IP addresses using the
/
arrow buttons
until you find the IP address you want to delete.
Delete the unwanted IP address(es).
