Following a factory reset, the receiver returns to Standby mode. Wait for the flashing
front panel LED, and then press the
POWER
button on the remote control or the
(On/Standby) button on the receiver front panel, followed by the
MENU
button to return
to the
Main Menu
.
Changing the Password
A unique lock level Password (4-digit number) protects the current receiver settings
against unauthorized changes.
IMPORTANT
Record and keep the password in a secure location. The default
password is
1234
.
Proceed with extreme caution when changing the password as this
operation cannot be undone. If the password is lost or is unavail-
able, contact your local service provider for assistance.
To change the Password…
Go
to
Password
and press
OK
to display the password prompt.
A pop-up window appears onscreen to enter the current password.
Enter the current password and press
OK
(for security, a default
character is substituted for each button pressed).
A pop-up window appears for entering the new password. If you
make an error or press the wrong button when entering the pass-
word, press the
arrow buttons to cancel, and start again.
Enter the new password and press
OK
(any number from 0000
through 9999 is valid).
A pop-up window appears asking you to confirm the new pass-
word. Enter the new Password again and press
OK
.
