3.20 Establishing transport readiness

Checking safety components!
The operator has to carry out an expert inspection prior to each first commission,
after any kind of changes to the support equipment and at least once a year accord-
ing to manufacturer's instructions.
These inspections should be documented in a suitable form.
The operator should check the support equipment for damages and wear prior to
each use. The connection and safety parts should be checked in particular for tight-
ness and functionality.

Danger of crushing!
When lowering the machine, ensure that no unauthorised persons are in the vicinity
of the machine and no one will be crushed by the machine or machine parts.
Perform the following, general tasks:

Clean the machine and switch off the concrete pump, auxiliary drive and drive
motor.

Disconnect the remote control cable from the machine.

Mount the wheels, if necessary.

Secure the machine using wheel wedges.

Lay a suitable support pad (e.g. item no.: 1095646) under the supporting dish
of the crank support
(Fig. 138) .
Proceed with the subsequent steps depending on the type of outrigger:
3.20.1 Mechanical outrigger SP 1800

Lower the crank (3) (Fig. 136) by rotating the support dish.

Lift the front of the machine slightly until the front supports (1) (Fig. 137) are un-
burdened.

Insert the interior tubes of the front supports and secure them with socket pins
and split pins.
