Relocate the Rotary Cutter CV Driveline to the FLEX-ARM
Use the constant velocity driveline assembly that
was shipped with the rotary cutter and connect it to
the input gearbox on the FLEX-ARM. Ensure that
driveline yokes and gearbox shafts are dirt free and
greased before attachment. The implement yoke on
this drive shaft use a tapered pin to lock the yoke to
the gearbox input shafts. Slide the yoke onto the
FLEXARMs input gearbox shaft, align the tapered
pin to the groove on the gearbox shaft and tighten
the nut on the tapered pin. If not connecting the CV
driveline to the tractor it can rest on the curved plate
at the front of the hitch.
Driveline Shield Chains
IMPORTANT: OSHA, ASABE and SAE standards
require that all rotating shafts be guarded against
contact. The unchained plastic shields can rotate
with the driveline, but must stop when they contact
another object.
Driveline shields may be chained to the gearbox
cone using the supplied chains. The shields must
be regularly greased and checked
