2.9.6 Vacuum regulation valve (VRV)
A vacuum regulation valve can be used to reduce the flow rate and vacuum level.
Additional ambient air is supplied to the blower using a ball valve. This reduces the lifting speed of the
vacuum tube lifter

(increasing the lowering speed of the gripper). To reach the desired lift
speed, the ball valve is opened wider for lighter loads while it is opened less or closed completely for
heavier or porous loads. It should be mounted at an accessible location (with approx. 30 cm space
surrounding it); either directly on the blower (fig. 1) or using a mounting bracket on the crane column
(fig. 2).

The silencer reduces the noise level. If the silencer is soiled, speed reduction is impaired and the
noise level will start to increase again. In this case, the silencer should be blown dry from the inside
out or replaced.

2.9.8 Hose-cylinder extension (SZV)
If you are using the energy-efficient, frequency-controlled blower (type SBV), the
lifting speed can also be changed at the blower.
The protective tube prevents mechanical damage to the lift tube and is
easy to clean. The retaining net protects the suction pads and lift tube
when the vacuum tube lifter

is not in use and allows for space-
saving storage.
The hose-cylinder extension enables ergonomic loading and
unloading of deep containers such as crates, cardboard boxes and
grid boxes. The hose-cylinder extension is mounted between the
suction pads and the operator handle.
