2.7 Vacuum generation
2.7.1 Vacuum generator
The vacuum generator generates the vacuum for the vacuum tube lifter

.
There are electrical
and pneumatic vacuum generators.
You can select from the following variants:
Vacuum blower SBM
Vacuum blower SBM
Vacuum blower SBV
Vacuum ejector SEM

2.7.2 Vacuum limiting valve
The vacuum tube lifter

UMBO
should only be operated with the vacuum limiting valve that was set at
the factory.
2.7.3 Motor-protection switch (MSS)
The motor-protection switch is used to switch the electrical vacuum generation on and off and
provides overvoltage protection. It can be integrated into the Schmalz crane column without the need
for complicated wiring (circuit diagram provided with motor-protection switch) and can be optionally
locked.
The body of the vacuum generator must not be opened during the warranty period.
If the vacuum generator is opened, the warranty becomes void.
ATTENTION
Vacuum value too high
Setting the vacuum too high can cause the lift tube to implode.

valve set to factory setting of
