COMMISSIONING
The safety information from section 2 “Safety” must be observed.
DANGER!
Hazard from incorrect commissioning!
Incorrect implementation of the tasks listed in the following can generate
hazards for personal safety during installation and operation of the lifting
magnet.

Ensure to carry out the following tasks correctly!
The battery-powered lifting magnet is delivered fully assembled. Operation is possible only after the tasks listed in
the following have been carried out by the personnel responsible for operation, installation and commissioning.
6.1
Acceptance and unpacking
■
Check that the packaging is not damaged.
■
Check the transport documents.
■
Check the accompanying documents, in particular that these refer to the delivered lifting magnet.
■
Check that the delivery is complete: The power supply cable and the remote control are located in the compart-
ment of the rear battery cover.
CAUTION!
Damage!
Inform the delivery company about any damage or other defects immediate-
ly. If there are any contradictions between the transport documents and your
order, please notify SAV GmbH.
■
Ensure that a suitable space with a level surface is available for unloading. The lifting capacity of the lifting
system must correspond to the parameters of the lifting magnet.
■
After removing the packaging material (usually a type of foam), attach the lifting magnet directly at the lifting
eye.
■
After removing the lifting magnet from the box, place it on a clean, solid, horizontal surface.
