1 INTRODUCTION
1.3 Warranty conditions, guarantee and liability
We offer a one-year warranty for our devices, starting from the date of invoice. This warranty is limited to replacing
parts on which a defect was found.
The warranty for all SAV products is limited to deliveries within the Federal Republic of Germany. For deliveries
outside of the Federal Republic of Germany, the additional costs arising from work carried out abroad will be
charged.
The warranty excludes:

All types of wear which are the result of inexpert use without observing the information in the operating instruc-
tions.
■
Downtime of the battery-powered lifting magnet cannot be charged for.
The manufacturer's general terms and conditions for warranty and liability apply. The T&Cs are available for down-
load from our homepage.
The manufacturer excludes warranty and liability claims for injury and damage which are caused by one or several
of the following:
■
Use of the battery-powered lifting magnets contravening the intended use
■
Use of the product which contravenes the applicable EU regulations on health & safety and accident prevention,
potentially contrary to the applicable local legal regulations
■
Incorrect installation or inexpert installation
■
Failure to observe and comply with the information, instructions and prohibitions in the operating instructions
■
Unauthorised product changes and adaptations as well as unauthorised structural changes to the battery-pow-
ered lifting magnets
■
Insufficient monitoring of wear parts
■
Maintenance and service work not carried out incorrectly or late
■
Operation and maintenance carried out by untrained or non-qualified personnel
To use the attached warranty, the customer (user) must comply with the instructions provided in these operating
instructions; in particular the following:
■
The lifting magnet must be operated within the operating limits in accordance with the instructions provided in
these operating instructions.
■
The device must be maintained properly and continuously, using the spare parts specified by the manufacturer.
■
Lifting magnets may only be operated by personnel with verified qualifications and training, as per section 2.2
of these operating instructions.
To speed up execution of warranty and repair work, please always state the SAV classification number, the SAV
order number and the magnet number in all correspondence.

These operating instructions are protected by copyright. All rights reserved. These operating instructions, whether
whole or in parts, may only be copied with express authorisation from SAV GmbH.
Violations will result in liability for damages and can result in criminal prosecution.
