The range of voltage is 9 - 30 V

. Connect the power cables to a power supply with a power
rating of at least 1 A. The operating voltage of the positive pole of the D 15 connector is
connected to the pin 15 of the D connector and to the negative pole 8. The DTR line in position
"1" can be used as an ON/STAND-BY switch. In this case the logical state "1" (+5...+30 V)
corresponds to ON and "0" (0 V...-12 V) to STAND-BY.
Especially in portable applications the DTR line (pin 1) of the radio modem should be switched to
position "0" when possible to save power.
NOTE!
Whenever connecting RS-232 interface cables to equipment, the equipment MUST FIRST BE
TURNED OFF.
