2.5.9 Camera white balance
The white balance setting can be found under this path:
PTZ > Camera WB
A camera needs to find reference color temperature which is a way of measuring the quality
of a light source, for calculating all the other colors. The unit for measuring this ratio is in
degree Kelvin (K). Users can select one of the white balance control modes according to the
operating environment. The following table shows the color temperature of some light
sources for reference.

White balance settings:
Auto:
The auto white balance mode is suitable for environment with light source having
color temperature in the range roughly from 2700 - 7800K.
Indoor, outdoor:
Define whether the camera is located indoors or outdoors.
ATW (Auto Tracking White Balance):
With the auto tracking white balance function, the white balance in a scene will be
automatically adjusted when temperature color is changing. The ATW mode is
suitable for environment with light sources having color temperature in the range
roughly from 2500 - 10000K.
Manual:
In this mode, users can change the white balance value manually. Users can select
values between 0 -
127 for “RGain/ BGain” item to gain the red/ blue illuminant on the
live video pane. Default values: RGain = 57; BGain = 54
Click on „Set“ to save the settings.
