Changing the Hot Key Settings
The following example shows how to change the setting of User 1 button
1. Double click the Key Define Utility icon(
) on the Taskbar.
2. Click Browser in the user field.
3. Select the desired program in [Open], and click Open. (Example, Windows Paint)
4. Click OK to save the configuration.
Internet key
: Runs Internet Explorer.
E-mail key
: Runs the Internet e-mail client program
(Example: Outlook Express).
User Button (User 1)
: You can launch a frequently used program by press-
ing the button. By default, Windows Calculator is
configured to be launched when you press this button.
WLAN/Bluetooth or
User 2 Button
: Turns on and off the
wirelessLAN/Bluetooth function for the models with
wireless LAN/Bluetooth function. Launches a user
defined program for the models without wireless
LAN/Bluetooth function.
Hot Keys
About the Wireless LAN Button
Turning the wireless LAN on or off takes about 5 seconds. Pressing this button
will not work for approx. 5 seconds after the last time the button was pushed.
