right then second cabinet, left to right, then third cabinet, left to right. The clock priority
can be changed by using MMC 826. The primary and secondary clock sources should
be mounted in the bottom cabinet to ensure stable reception of clocking from the
primary and secondary sources. Regardless of position a CO PRI circuit should always
be given clocking priority over T1 circuits. There are two RJ45 modular jacks on the
face of the card. The settings for T1 or PRI service are selected by a bank of dip
switches as defined below
. To access the dip switches you must
remove the case by removing the 4 screws
and splitting the case.
The PRI supports NI1, NI2, AT&T No. 5 ESS, and DMS 100 offices. A maximum of 9
TEPRI cards can be provided per system (3 per cabinet) unless a WLI card has been
installed as this card occupies a TEPRI slot. Push firmly in the middle of both card
ejectors on each card to ensure that it is fully inserted into the back plane connector.
NOTE:
Do not insert this card with system power ON.

*If this TEPRI card is to be the master of a pair of TEPRI cards that are used to connect
two systems together via PRI networking then this DIP switch, DIP switch 4 must be set
to ON.
**Do not change the settings of DIP switches 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8. Switches 3, 5, 6, and 7
must remain OFF and 8 must be ON.
