Ignite the pilot light and burner
DANGER! If there is a smell of gas in the room where installed, do not ignite the gas
flame!
Risk of explosion!

Shut off the gas tap on site!

Do not switch on or off electrical appliances!

Open windows and doors! Thoroughly ventilate the room where installed with a
draught!
.
After sufficient ventilation, determine the location of escaping gas!

Inform the standby service of the gas supplier!
● When the appliance has not been used for a
longer period of time: e. g. the main shut-off
device was closed, it may take slightly longer
before the pilot light ignites (the gas supply
has to fill up with gas again).

Press in and hold the gas control, turn to igni
tion symbol

Using the gas igniter, ignite the pilot light.

After igniting the pilot light, keep the gas con
trol pressed for approx. 5 - 10 seconds,
‒ so that the thermocouple can sufficiently
heat up and
‒ the gas supply is not automatically shut off
again (automatic safety pilot).
Set the burner flame

After ignition, release the gas control, lightly press and turn to high heating capacity.

To set from high to small flame, lightly press the gas control and turn to the small flame symbol.
