3.5.2 Basic parameter setup
The basic parameter setup of occupied BW is same as channel power setup; it is only about the video average and
scan type. Other parameter such as resolution BW, video BW and scan time are configured by system default.
By pressing
CPL
key, change the basic parameter, and the follow menu of figure will appear:

User can set up some parameters by pressing
MEAS SETUP
key.

Channel BW
Press “Channel BW” key to change the value of channel BW. The default channel BW is 8MHz. In order to
measure accurately, and the span frequency is set to 1.5 times the channel BW. Channel bandwidth is proportional
to span. Therefore, span will be changed according to channel BW value. The channel bandwidth can also be
changed by digital inputs, up and down key and knob.
