4 Troubleshooting
This chapter describes actions need to be taken if the machine fails to operate properly or messages /
warnings are displayed on the software window.
4.1 Failure to Operate Normally
If the machine runs abnormally or stops the operation, verify the problem by refering to Table 4-1 Recovery
Method for Abnormal Operation . If the machine fails to be recovered or if you are unsure of actions to
take, please contact Saki Corporation.
Symptom Check Item Recovery Method
The machine
does not power
up when the main
breaker is turned
on.
The power supply may be off. Check the voltage and turn on the power.
The power supply cord may be
unplugged. Plug the power supply cord after turning off the main
breaker and the earth leakage breaker.
The earth leakage breaker may
be off.
Turn on the earth leakage breaker after turning off the
main breaker.
If the earth leakage breaker is turned off when the main
breaker is turned on, an electrical leakage or a shorting
of wires may be occured.
Please contact Saki Corporation immediately.
The PC does not
activate.
The PC’s power supply unit may
be off. Turn on the power switch of the PC’s power supply
unit.
The power supply cord for the PC
may be unplugged. Securely plug the power supply cord in the PC’s power
supply unit.
The PC is
activate, but
nothing appears
on the monitor.
The power for the monitor may be
off. Push the power supply switch on the front side of the
monitor.
The power supply cord on the back
of the monitor may be unplugged.
Securely plug the power supply cord.
The signal line on the back of the
monitor may be unplugged.
Securely plug the signal line.
The signal line to the PC monitor
may be unplugged.
The VGA card for the PC may be
detached.
Turn off the PC and reinsert the VGA card.
The PC starts up,
but the inspection
software on the PC
does not activate.
Inspection software file may be
corrupted.
1. In C:\BF1\Backup folder, select the folder with the
most recent date.
2. In the folder, copy and overwrite the files to
C:\BF1 .
A user logged on using a name
other than SAKICORP .
On Windows XP startup window, login using
SAKICORP .
The inspection
software starts,
but the machine
does not run.
Emergency stop condition may
be on. Release the emergency stop condition.
Refer to
3.1 Emergency Stop in Operation Manual.
PC expansion boards are not
recognized.
In OS Device Manager , check the boards are
recognized, reinstall the driver. If reinstalling the driver
does not solve the problem, reinsert the expansion
boards.
The software
cannot complete
the shadFnF
process.
Shading sheet may be dirty. Clean the shading sheet.
Half mirror may be dirty. Clean the half mirror.
Frame grabber board
(IPM8580CL-F) is unplugged.
Turn off the PC and reinsert the image input board.
The illumination
does not light on.
LED is out of order.
LED lighting should be replace.
