TROUBLESHOOTING

GUIDE

PROBLEMS

The water is cold and the

compressor is working.

The panel is frosting.

The water does not reach

temperature.

CAUSES

Lower set temperature.

The temperature sensor

is disconnected to the

cylinder.

The pipework between

the panel and the SAHP is

not properly insulated.

Incorrect refrigerant

charge.

Incorrect refrigerant

charge.

Incorrect Installation.

Refrigerant Leak or

charge.

SOLUTION

Check the temperature

set point on screen.

Check the right placement

of the temperature sensor

inside the cylinder.

Check the proper

insulation of the plumbing

circuit and the cylinder.

Check the R134a / 513a

charge (check the sight

glass for the refrigerant).

Check the R134a / 513a

charge (check the sight

glass for the refrigerant).

Ensure panel is installed

and unit installed

correctly.

Check for leaks. If pipe

run over 27 “ extra

refrigerant must be added

(check the sight glass for

the refrigerant).

Frost could appear during the normal operation and it

melts once the LMTB stops.
