Record mode
The record mode enables you to modify the recording time capacity of the
answering machine.
Two quality levels are available:
•
Superior quality: for a 15 minute high-quality capacity.
• Standard quality: for a 25 minute normal-quality capacity.
On the navigator key , press or until the Ans. Mach menu is
displayed, press OK to confirm.
Select TAM Settings. Press Confirm .
Select Record. Mode using or . Press Confirm .
Press Edit to modify the recording quality level displayed on the
screen. Press Confirm .
To exit the menu, press the red key .
Number of rings
This parameter enables you to set the number of times your telephone
rings before the answering machine answers a call. The number of rings
can be set between 2 and 7. You can also select the Time saver mode.
The Time saver mode automatically determines the number of rings based
on the number of messages left on the answering machine.
If there are no new messages on the answering machine, the number of
rings will be 4, otherwise the number of rings will be 2.
On the navigator key , press or until the Ans. Mach menu is
displayed, press OK to confirm.
Select TAM Settings. Press Confirm .
Modifying the message recording quality does not affect the
quality of the outgoing message.
