Select HS Settings. Press Confirm .
Select Custom. Press Confirm .
Select the number of the base. Press Confirm .
Delete the current name of the base by pressing C on the navigator panel
(if necessary).
Enter the new name of the base. Press Confirm .
Enter the base's code. Press Confirm .
The handset will enter registration mode and the "Handset in registration
mode" message will appear on the screen.
Switch your base to pairing mode by following the process described in
”On the base:” below.
When the handset is registered, select the number of the handset. Press
Confirm .
On the base:
Put the base to which you want to register the handset in registration
mode:
•
If your base is equipped with an answering machine: Press
simultaneously on the two top buttons on the base for a few seconds
.
• If your base is not equipped with an answering machine: Press on the
button on the base for a few seconds.
The green light blinks rapidly, the base is in registration mode.
The new handset and the base are mutually searching for each other. The
registration may take several seconds.
