MIG-MAG WELDING CYCLE SETTING
The MIG welding cycle setting menu
distinguishes 7 phases on the welding cycle:

Hotstart
3.
Welding step
4.
Crater filler
5.
Burn back
6.

7.
Postgas
WARNING
the voltage is present at the end of the wire from the slow wire forwarding phase to the post retract spray phase.

Use the left encoder to scroll the settings.
Use the right encoder to adjust the selected parameter

1. Pregas
Gas timing before the welding cycle starts
Variables : T(s)

2. Hotstart/Softstart
In the hotstart phase, a wire speed greater than the welding phase wire speed allows
quicker penetration on start-up. Otherwise, the hotstart phase allows a low start-up with
a progressive ramp up of wire speed.
