Tuning advice :
In flat regime, a low value of the fine tuning enables a quick rise of the short cut current. Thus, the regime is dynamic and hot which allows welding in
position but has the drawback of generating more spatter. On the contrary, a high value of the fine tuning reduces the dynamism and cools the weld pool.
Note
: The welding position is further facilitated by "speed short arc" arc transfer than"smooth" arc transfer.
In Pulsed mode , fine tuning adjusts the energy of the current pulse and optimize the drop detachment.
Specifically, if fine projections detach from the wire, reduce the fine tuning, if rather large drops off, increase the fine tuning.
