5-7-2 PTZ Setup
Sets the PTZ camera connected to the system

Menu PTZ
Setting the PTZ causes a camera icon to be displayed.
Camera name
Displays the name of each channel
PTZ protocol
Sets the protocol used to communicate with the PTZ camera
Camera ID
ID set in the PTZ camera
Transmission

Camera control cable type (RS-485)
Transmission
rate
Communication speed (must be the same as that indicated in the camera
manual)
Preset
maintenance
time
Interval between the Preset as defined in the Tour feature and the next Preset
(unit: 5 – 60 seconds)
Tour
Used to set the Tour feature (Tour 1 and Tour 2)
(1) PTZ protocol setting
The PTZ protocol is used for communicating with the PTZ camera.
On the
{PTZ Setup}
menu, select a channel using the
arrow (

buttons and press the
[Select]
button.
On the selection box, select the audio channel using the
arrow (
ST
)
and
[Select]
buttons.
(2) Camera ID setting
Camera ID refers to the address used for communicating with the PTZ camera.
On the
{PTZ Setup}
menu, select the channel using the
arrow (
STW
X
)
buttons and press
the
[Select]
button.
On the selection box, set the camera ID using the
arrow (
ST
)
and
[Select]
buttons.
Camera IDs may be from 1 to 16.
The camera ID must be the same as the address set in the PTZ camera.
Different methods are used to set the address of the PTZ camera depending on the camera
manufacturer or model.
