E 4.11.3 Key Functions in Dialnorm mode
Pressing and holding the SELECT button in the Dialnorm mode gives access
to some special options. The functions of the keys are labeled in a column
next to the buttons while holding
SELECT .
Note:
To access the right set of key functions the Multi Instrument 2 showing
the Dialnorm display must be highlighted with a white frame before
pressing and holding SELECT . Otherwise the key functions of one of the
other instruments will be displayed and active instead. To move the frame
to the Multi Instrument 2 press
SELECT repeatedly before holding it.
• Start/Hold
Press the Start key to start the Dialnorm calculation process. The caption
of this key changes to Hold . The calculation will run until it is stopped
with the Hold key for reading. Now the key is labelled Start again. If you
want to continue the calculation just press Start again.
• Stop
Press the Stop key to stop the Dialnorm calculation process and read
the Dialnorm value in the display. Press Stop again to reset the time and
Dialnorm displays.
• Cha (Channel)
Pressing the Cha (channel) key repeatedly will cycle the Dialnorm input
through useful combinations of input channels. The selected channels
will be summed internally and the results will be used for the Dialnorm
calculation. The available groups are All (channels), L+R, L+R+C or All
w/o LF (all channels excluded the LF channel).
