external tank
Before you switch the device on, make sure the thermostat is set on“0”.
Before using the device, fill the external tank with water. The water level has to be between the min. and
max. levels marked on the inside of the external tank. Insert the internal tank with the lid and cover into the
external tank and then fill with food. Set the required temperature (1-10) using the thermostat knob. The
control light will switch on, and will stay on until the required temperature is reached. When the temperature
in the kettle drops, the thermostat will automatically switch on and heat up the food. Whilst the heater is on
the control light will also be on. When the desired temperature is reached, the heater and control light will
switch off. The heating time depends on the quantity and temperature of the food and water temperature in
the external tank. Once food is served remember to replace the lid to avoid excessive heat loss. When the
device is not in use, make sure the thermostat is set on “0”. Maintain your dish at a required temperature.
We suggest using the thermostat settings between 1 and 8. Settings 9 and 10 will heat up the dish to a very
high temperature.
•
When the device has cooled down, clean it. This should be done after each use to keep the device in
perfect hygienic condition. To clean the rest of the device, protect the electric parts from humidity and
from direct water contact to avoid electric shocks and short-circuits. An impregnated cloth is enough
to clean the device if you do it regularly!
•
If the device is not to be used and stored for an extended period of time, pay attention to the storage
conditions: The air has to be dry and the device should be covered to be protected from dust.
There are three possible lid positions:
•
closed, to maintain heat in the soup kettle:
•
open, for example when serving food
from the soup kettle:
•
tilted, when adding food to the soup kettle:
ASSEMBLY / DISASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE’S ELEMENTS:
Slide the internal tank through the carrying lip
and then gently insert into the external tank:
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
During transport, the machine should be protected from shaking and falling and should not be placed upsi
-
de down. Store it in a properly ventilated place with dry air and without any corrosive gas.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
Disconnect the device from electricity when cleaning the equipment.
•
Use cleaner without corrosive substances to clean surface.
•
After cleaning, allow all parts to dry well before the device is used again.
•
Store the unit in a dry, cool location, free from moisture and direct exposure to sunlight.
CHECKING THE DEVICE REGULARLY
Check regularly whether the device is damaged. If it should be damaged, please stop using it immediately
and contact your customer service to solve the problem.
What to do in case of a problem?
Please contact your customer service and prepare the following information:
•
Invoice number and serial number (the latter is to be found on the technical plate on the device).
•
If relevant, take a picture of the damaged, broken or defective part.
•
It will be easier for your customer service clerk to determine the source of the problem if you give
a detailed and precise description of the matter. Avoid ambiguous formulations like “the device does
not heat up”, which may mean either that it does not heat enough or that it does not heat at all. The
more detailed your information, the better the customer service will be able to solve your problem
rapidly and efficiently!
CAUTION:
Never open the device without the authorization of your customer service. This can lead to
a loss of warranty!
The lid should be attached to the lip as shown
below:
