Daily Cleaning
1. turn the power off, unplug the power cord, and
allow the unit to cool down before proceeding.
2. Put on safety equipment.
3. empty and replace the grease catch Pans
before starting to clean the grill, if necessary.
4. scrape all the grease and debris from the grill
surface into the grease catch Pans.
5. apply a small amount of butter-flavored vegetable
oil to the grill.

allow the unit to cool down before performing any
service or maintenance.
cAuTION
chlorides or phosphates in cleaning agents (e.g.
bleach, sanitizers, degreasers, or detergents)
could cause permanent damage to stainless steel
equipment. The damage is usually in the form of
discoloration, dulling of metal surface finish, pits,
voids, holes, or cracks. This damage is perma
-
nent and not covered by warranty. The following
tips are recommended for maintenance of your
stainless steel equipment:

Always use soft, damp cloth for cleaning, rinse
with clear water and wipe dry. when required,
always rub in direction of metal polish lines.
• Stains and spots should be removed using a
vinegar solution.
• Finger marks and smears should be rubbed off
using soap and water.
• hard water spots should be removed using a
vinegar solution.
cAuTION
Do NOT use a sanitizing solution or abrasive
materials. The use of these may cause damage to
the stainless steel finish.
cAuTION
If a chemical cleaner is used, be sure it is safe to
use on cast aluminum. Observe all precautions
and warnings on product label.
6. scrub the grill from front to rear using the griddle
pad, screen, and holder. clean all cracks and
edges.
7. Wipe the grill surface with a dry cloth to remove
residue. then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
8. Remove and empty the grease catch pans.
9. Wash the grease catch Pans in dish detergent
solution.
10. Rinse the grease catch Pans in clean water and
replace on the unit.
