If only one of the refrigerating tongs ices over
Î hold both refrigerating tongs upright for about 10 minutes while the machine is running so
that any process oil that may have become displaced in the refrigerating tongs is led back to the
compressor. If this does not lead to a change, a technical expert should be asked to carry out
troubleshooting.
If the refrigerating system shuts down for no recognisable reason this could be due to:
Î unduly high process temperatures or electric currents as a result of excessively high or low
ambient temperatures
Î inadequate air flow (air grille displaced, condenser contaminated)
Î
electric failure.
Troubleshooting must be carried out by a technical expert if the equipment temperature was
maintained upon commissioning (min. 10° C), the ambient temperatures are within the permissible
limits and the air flow is correct.
In the event of a fire
Î
Shut down the refrigerating system and use a carbon dioxide or powder fire extinguisher to
fight the fire.
General information
Î Only carry out freezing in compliance with the intended use described in the operating manual.
Î Do not obstruct the air circulation, i.e. do not close the lid and block the ventilation slots during
operation as otherwise the freezing process cannot be carried out properly.
Î Protect cooling hoses and refrigerating tongs against damage.
Î
Only store, transport and operate the pipe freezing system in the installation position. Protect
against impact, strong vibrations and falling. The system is suitable for portable use according
to class 7M2.
Î
The installation location must be dry and free from dust.
Scope of delivery, transport and storage
Scope of delivery:
Essentially, the ROFROST TURBO pipe freezing system consists of the following components or following
accessories respectively:
• Electric refrigerating system consisting of:
Refrigerating aggregate including housing, carry handle, lid, plastic insert as receptacle for the
reducing inserts, shutdown switch and power cord
2 cooling hoses with refrigerating tongs (evaporator system) and clamping screws with integrated
thermometer
• Set of reducing inserts (special sizes upon enquiry)
•
1 tin of heat-conductive paste
Transport and storage:
Î
Store the cooling hoses, refrigerating tongs and the reducing inserts in the portable housing.
Î Only store in installation position (i.e. upright) in a dry and dust-free environment at temperatures
between -10° C to 35° C
Î Protect against impact and vibration.
