3. First steps
After receiving the generator it is recommended to check if the delivered goods are
matching with the goods on the delivery paper (invoice, packing list, way bill). Remove
the packing carefully. Check if there is any damage through the transport. If the delivery
is damaged, incomplete or wring please contact your dealer immediately.
After lengthy storage the isolation of the generator coils must be checked. If the isolation
resistance declined below 1 MΩ, the generator coils must be dehumidified.
3.1. Assembly
• Remove the generator and all accessories from the
packing.
• Accurately remove all mud and dust from the genera
-
tor.
• Place the generator in an area where it will not be ex
-
posed to rain, snow or direct sunlight. Make sure it
is positioned on firm level ground, so it will not slide
or shift. Position the engine exhaust away from areas
where people may be present.
The delivery contains:
1x Generator
1x Fuel tank cup
1x Handle
2x Screw M6x30
2x Split washer M6
2x Washer M6
1x Connection cable for 12V auxiliary output
The generator is delivered almost ready. Please proceed
the following steps:
• Pull the measuring cup out of the fuel tank.
• Put the measuring cup and the fuel tank cup together.
Mount the fuel tank cup on the fuel tank.
• Mount the handle by using the screw, split washer and
washer on the fuel tank.
Please notice the correct sequence during the as-
sembly: washer, split-washer, screw. (see illustra-
tion).
• Check the tightness of all fasteners and tube clamps.
Tighten up if necessary.
