APPROVAL OF ELECTRIC AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS
(EQUIPMENT QUALIFICATION ACCORDING TO RTCA/DO-160)
RTCA/DO-160 defines a series of minimum standard environmental test conditions and
applicable test procedures for airborne equipment. The purpose of these tests is to pro-
vide a laboratory means of determining the performance characteristics of airborne equip-
ment in environmental conditions representative of those which may be encountered in
airborne operation of the equipment.
Electric and Electronic components (incl. wiring harness, ECU, Fuse Box, PMA, Sensors
and Actuators) of the 915 i A Series are considered as part of the equipment and have
been tested and qualified according to the following table:
