SRG-2200 User Guide (v6.0)
Each sub-field (except the
Frame
field) is edited individually. A highlight cursor is displayed showing which
sub-field is active and hence editable in the field.
The
UTC Time
field counts continuously. Note that each time the seconds field is nudged, the frames field is reset
to zero. This provides an easy way to set the UTC time to be coincident with your temporary reference.
This field always displays zeros in each of the sub-fields.
When VITC or NTP are enabled, the Nudge feature is disabled.
Daylight Saving Time Processing
Set the Auto Daylight Saving mode to one of the following:
•
Auto DST Enabled (Automatic)
— make sure to select the correct country code and state code to have the unit
automatically make the time change.
•
Auto DST Enabled (user defined)
— allows custom selection time changes. The summer time and winter time
tabs will allow the setting of day, month, year, hour, minute, second, frame for the change to occur. You must
click
Refresh
after opening the Summer or Winter tabs.
•
Auto DST off
— there will be no automatic seasonal time change.
•
Auto DST Enabled (Automatic)

Auto DST Enabled (user defined)

Use the
Country
Code
and
State Code
menus to specify to the SRG-2200 which country and state/province it is
located in. The unit can then automatically set the start and end dates for Daylight savings Time
Summertime Tab
If the user wishes to manually set the start of DST, this tab allows them to configure the hour, minute, second,
frame, date, month, and year to start DST.
Wintertime Tab
If the user wishes to manually set the end of DST, this tab allows them to configure the hour, minute, second, frame,
date, month, and year to end DST.
Leap Second Event Tab
The options in the
Leap Second Processing
menu are: Off (manual), User Defined.
If you select User Defined, then the time and date will automatically adjust at the time and date set in the
Leap
Second Event (UTC)
menu.
View All Times Tab
This tab allows the user to see all the times being generated by the SRG-2200. Adjustments can be made per the
above descriptions.
