3. Connect AES 1 BNC output to your Digital Audio Analyzer input.
4. Set the Digital Audio Analyzer to display the status of the audio data, and to receive a signal through the
connected input.
5. Check that the Analyzer does not report any data errors, etc.
6. Check that the Digital Audio signal is as configured in the menu, and that selecting and editing entries in
DashBoard, the configuration of the Digital Audio signal changes accordingly.
7. Repeat 3 through 6 for menu selection < Audio AES1 Right = Audio 02 > and AES Audio Channel 02.
Time and Timecode Settings
Each video output has its own dedicated Timecode generator, which can be offset from the main SPG Time.
Additionally, there is a dedicated LTC output which can be similarly offset. There are also several Timecode
system-related setup screens. This procedure will acquaint the user with the available options. Refer to Figure 2.5
for a functional diagram of the Timecode system.
The following Time and Timecode values can be configured and monitored:
• SDI 1 & SDI 1 Black Timecode
• Composite VITC
• Tri-Sync Black 2 VITC
• Tri-Sync Black 3 VITC
• Tri-Sync Black 4 VITC
• LTC 1 Timecode
• SPG Time
• UTC DateTime
• NTP DateTime (UTC)
• Analog REF VITC (UTC)
• Summer DST Event (UTC) Winter DST Event (UTC) Leap Second Event (UTC)

be found in section“ Slot 12: System Time Tabs ” on page 47. A flow chart outlining the Time and Date
Configuration sequence is shown in Figure 6.2 in the same section.
