SID Assignment Insertion

Refrain
When the input audio contains
watermarks of the specified code type, the
NWE-TS does not add any watermarks of
its own.
Overwrite*
When the input audio contains
watermarks of the specified code type, the
NWE-TS replaces the incoming
watermarks with its own.
SID Assignment
Validate
Click this button to enable the NWE-TS to
verify the SID information entered on this
tab against the information from the
incoming transport stream. Once the
information is validated, the Submit
button is enabled.
If the PSI/PSIP field reports a HAS
CHANGED

(yellow indicator) condition,
clicking Validate will clear the condition.
Submit
• Applies the changes made to the SID
rows
• The Card State field, located above the
Status tabs, will report when there are
unsaved changes in the SID Assignment
tab
• If the Submit button is disabled, changes
have been made to this tab but are not
validated
Cancel
Ignores the changes made to the SID rows
and cancels unapplied changes made in
the Configuration tab. The Submit button
is disabled.
PSI/PSIP (read-only)
Up To Date (Green)
The TS structure, as reported in the PSI
and PSIP, is the same as it was the last
time Validate was selected
HAS CHANGED
(Yellow)
The TS structure, as reported in the PSI
and PSIOP, has changed since the last time
the Validate button was selected
Read-only fields #
Indicates the status of each SID that can
be watermarked
a. Refrain and Overwrite settings only apply to NAES2 watermarks.
b. A yellow indicator is reported whenever there are changes to the SID Assignment fields that are not yet applied.
