Front Panel Overview
This section provides a general overview of the features of the NWE-TS front panel.

1. Power Button
This is the main power button for the NWE-TS.
2. VGA Port
Use this port as described in the section “
This panel reports the serial number, network address mode, IP address, and netmask of the
NWE-TS. Status information on the Dell® hardware is also displayed. Refer to the Dell
documentation that accompanied the NWE-TS for details on the type of messages this panel
displays.
4. USB Ports
Use these ports as outlined in the section “
This button is used to force the transport stream into bypass mode or to restore it to active status.
Refer to the chassis silk-screen for button toggle position details.
6. STATUS LEDs
This panel provides four LEDs that reports on the transport stream (TS) signals and watermarking
signals of the NWE-TS.

Green
When this LED is green, a valid ASI input signal is connected to the ASI IN
BNC located on the NWE-TS rear panel.
Off
When this LED is off, the input signal is invalid or missing.
