Caution:
Risk of electric shock!
• The power plug and the power cable must not come into contact with water or other liquids.
• Always disconnect the device from the power supply before cleaning. Remove the mains plug from the
socket!
Cleaning the interior lighting of cooking area/BBQ light and glass surfaces
Do not use any sharp or pointed objects, as well as corrosive and strong detergents, for cleaning in order to
avoid scratches and damage! Clean glass surfaces with a glass cleaner and sponge. If necessary, use warm
water with some washing-up liquid and a soft cloth.
Cleaning the fat catcher tray
The drip tray and the fat catcher tray must be cleaned on a regu-
lar basis!
If the grill is used a lot, more frequent cleaning may be required.
Adapt your care plan according to usage. If they are not, accu-
mulated fat and oil could cause a fire in the grill.
Your guarantee does not cover damage caused by a fire
started by fat and oil residues.
1. Remove the two transport lock screws on the left and right
sides.
2. Remove the drain funnel together with fat catcher tray.
3. Never line the cooking compartment and fat catcher tray with foil or sand.
4. Remove the excess fat, clean the fat catcher tray and cooking compartment with warm soapy water and
rinse them with clear water.
Cleaning the cooking compartment / areas
If the cooking area is dirty: Heat up the grill for approx. 10 - 15 minutes at full power. Then leave it to cool
down. Ensure that the grill has cooled down completely before you start with the thorough cleaning. If ne-
cessary, observe the specifications of the cleaning agent manufacturer.
• Never use abrasive stainless steel polish, oven cleaners, abrasive cleaning agents (kitchen cleaners), acid
cleaning agents or scouring pads for cleaning the grill.
• Clean the outer casing with a mild detergent and water. Thoroughly rinse with clean water and dry the
surfaces.
• Do not allow any water or cleaner to get into the burner jets.
• To clean the grates, use the RÖSLE barbecue cleaning brush to remove the deposits.
• After the grill has been thoroughly cleaned, always dry it out by heating it up.
Cleaning the FatDrip system
The grates of the FatDrip system transport dripping oils or greases
from the food away from the heat source to the drain channels
.
The drain channels transport the liquids to the drip tray
. This
helps prevent any uncontrolled flames.
You can clean the grates, as well as the drain channel, with a
sponge or in the case of stubborn deposits with a soft stainless
steel wire brush. Then rinse the parts again with clean water and
dry with a cloth. Always dry thoroughly after cleaning. Never
store cast parts when wet. Empty the drip tray
and rinse it, e.g. with a fat solvent.
Cleaning the drip tray of the Primezone (Pro G3, Pro G4)
Pull out the drip tray to the front. Empty the drip tray and rinse it,
e.g. with a fat solvent.
