Warning
The use of accessories which are not original parts may cause injuries and damage.
Use a proper extension cable only if this is necessary.
Lay the power cable so that nobody can drag it and so that it does not pose a tripping hazard in order to
avoid accidents, as well as knocking over the device.
The power cable must not be damaged from sharp edges or contact with hot elements.
Caution
Hot surfaces or risk of burns.
During operation the temperature of the contactable surfaces of the device can become very hot! Wear
protective gloves.
Please note that the surfaces may also still be hot after use.
Risk of burns

Therefore, erect the device as a freestanding unit, not at a wall or in a corner, at a curtain or similar. Due to
the heat development, observe a minimum distance of 30 cm to flammable materials and objects (furniture,
curtains, etc.).
Allow the device to cool down fully before cleaning and moving it in order to avoid serious burns from the
hot surfaces and injuries from the hot liquid (grease).
Always allow the device to cool down sufficiently before cleaning or tidying up.
Keep away from flammable material and do not cover the device during operation.
Place the device on a flat, heat-resistant and splash-proof area
Repairs
You cannot open or repair the device as otherwise fault-free functioning is no longer guaranteed. The war-
ranty is void in the event of non-compliance.
Consult the customer services department or an authorised dealer for repairs.
Gas cylinder safety instructions
Exercise caution when handling gas cylinders!
Only gas cylinders with a
maximum
gross weight of 11 kg may be placed on the cylinder stand provided –
see assembly instructions. The maximum length of the gas hose must not exceed 1.5 metres.
Make sure that there are no leaking joints:
• Every time before starting up the appliance and whenever the gas cylinder has been replaced,
carry out the "gas-tightness test".
• After use turn off the gas supply at the cylinder.
Gas cylinders must not be exposed to temperatures above 50 °C and must never be stored in enclosed spaces
or cellars/basements. Always observe and follow the safety instructions marked on the gas cylinders used.
• Always turn off the valve on the cylinder before disconnecting the cylinder from the appliance.
• When replacing the gas cylinder, keep it well away from possible sources of ignition.
• Never store and replace gas cylinders in enclosed spaces, but in well ventilated rooms/areas.
• The gas cylinder must always be fitted upright, and transported and stored with the safety cap fitted.
• You can place the gas cylinder either in the casing or on non-flammable flat ground beside your gas
grill.
• Never expose gas cylinders to excessive heat.
