Cleaning the burners
Especially after long periods of use, the burners can become clogged
with excess fat, juices and marinades and surface corrosion may set in.
If that happens, remove the burners:
1. Remove burners, see instructions below.
2. Clean burners with warm water and cleaning agent.
3. Make sure that the burner jets are clear.
4. Rinse burners with water, dry and insert again.
5. Light burners immediately to prevent rusting and corrosion.
6. Gently oil burners if the gas grill has not been used for an extended
period.
Removing the burners
• Make sure that the grill is switched off and has cooled down com-
pletely.
• Make sure that all control knobs are set to "OFF" and the gas cylin-
der is also turned off.
1. Close the gas supply.
2. Lift up the grates.
3. Lift up the heat distributors.
4. Release the split pin at the back.
5. Lift the burner and remove it from the firebox.
6. Clean the burner as described.
7. Refitting is the reverse of the removal procedure.
Ensure that the burner opening is at the nozzle.
Changing the interior lighting
Disconnect the device from the power supply by unplugging the
power plug.
• Check whether the lighting has cooled down sufficiently.
• Make sure that the gas grill is switched off and has cooled down comple-
tely.
• Check whether all control knobs are at "OFF". Turn off the gas cylinder.
• Remove the warming rack.
Never hold the new lamp with bare fingers at the glass body.
1. Remove the locking screw of the glass cover.
2. Carefully open the glass cover.
3. Unclip the glass lens with metal frame from the housing and remove the
lens. Do not touch the halogen lamp with bare hands.
4. Remove the faulty lamp by pulling it from the holder and insert the new
lamp as shown.
5. Reinsert the lens in the intended holder and reposition the housing.
6. Secure the lens incl. metal frame to the housing.
7. Close the glass cover and screw it on again.
