Remove the old EEPROM by 
using the IC Extractor tool. Do 
not use a screwdriver or simi-
lar tools.

Place the new EEPROM into 
the socket. Make sure that the 
cut off corner is placed in the 
right position.

Note

! Make sure that necessary 

precautions are taken in order to 
prevent electrostatic discharge 
from damaging the EEPROM.

Replace the SPC board, PCB 
locking and cover. Check that 
contact surfaces on the trans-
mitter housing and cover are 
clean. Tighten the screws.
