RÖMER infrared heating systems can be fitted either as a wall-mounted or as ceiling-mounted heating
system. Therefore, different installation variations are provided for. Our heating panels are provided with
aluminium profiles on the back, which are the mounting apparatus. Screws for wall and ceiling mounting
are included.
Please only fit the system when it is switched off.
It must not be plugged in. Only use the provided bracket system. Do not drill any holes into the heating
panel. If this accidentally happens, please contact the manufacturer or customer services.
Use the included installation template and ensure you take into account all installation notes given in these
instructions to ensure a proper and easy installation. Please ensure that the unit is hung
at a height of 1.2m from the floor in children’s rooms or rooms accessible by children.
Distance to the back: RÖMER infrared heating systems only radiate convection heat towards the back. How

ever, it has must be ensured that there is a minimum distance of 25 mm between heating panel and wall.
This warrants optimal ventilation. This distance is maintained if you use the original mounting bracket.
Distance to the front: RÖMER flat heating systems only radiate infrared at the front. Please make sure a
minimum distance of 25 cm to the front is maintained. In case of installation in wet rooms, the installation
is to be carried out by a qualified firm and according to VDE100, parts 701, 702 and 703 or ÖVE-EN Stan
-
dards respectively. Ensure that the plug of the heating panel is accessible and that it can be removed from
the mains socket immediately if necessary. Should the heating panel be integrated into a fixed electrical
installation, a separator of Overvoltage Category III for full separation must be provided. This work may only
be carried out by qualified specialist firms!
