Is the power switched on?
Switch on the printer's main power, then press the [POWER] key and make sure the key lights up.
Does the [POWER] key stay steadily lighted?
Output is not performed when [POWER] key does not stay steadily lighted. After the media is loaded,
pull the loading lever.
Is the [POWER] key flashing?
When the [POWER] key flashes, no operation except for canceling output is accepted.
Is the cover open?
Close front cover, and maintenance cover.
Has ink run out?
If you send the output data in a state where there is no ink left, a warning buzzer will sound and the
machine will stop temporality. A message indicating that ink has run out is displayed in the Status field
of Utilities. When the ink cartridge is replaced with a new one, printing or cutting starts.

Is the driver installed correctly?
If the connection to the computer is not made in the sequence described, the driver may fail to be
installed correctly. The Utility does not function normally when driver is misconfigured. Check again to
ensure that the connection was made using the correct procedure.
