TC 504 Controller with Event-control
If your kiln (e .g . a frontloader) is equipped with an exhaust air or air supply control
(optional accessory), the TC 504 allows you to turn it on or off using the “
Event
“
key . It is possible to turn the Event on or off within a segment .
Example for programming of exhaust air flaps
Segment 1
Program delay Event ON or Event OFF
Either “close“ or “open“ the flap during program delay .
Enter kiln power rating:
see Appendix B: Parameter list
Turn on the controller . When the actual kiln temperature appears in the display, push
the “
zone
“ key and hold for at least 3 seconds .
The controller changes to parameter mode . Parameter No . 01 indicates the kiln
performance in kW/h .
Hold the “
+
“key until you have entered the kW value as indicated on your kiln (see
type plate) . “

“ key allows you to reduce the value .
Push the “
zone
“ key again for at least 3 seconds in order
to save the altered parameter values .
The red display shows “Save okay“ .
Turn off the controller by pushing the main power switch!
Caution!
Incorrectly set parameters can cause damage to your kiln and firing goods.
Before changing parameter settings, remember that the user is responsible
for any adverse consequences. Do not change the parameters if you are in
doubt!
