Due to normal wear, the performance of any system can degrade over time. This per-
formance degradation can also impair system safety. To prevent any risks, we recom-
mend a regular safety and performance check of the chamber once a year.
9.3
Preparing the Chamber for Maintenance
Before carrying out any of the maintenance tasks described in
on page 56, perform the following steps.
1. Make sure that nobody uses the chamber during maintenance. Take the steps that
are stipulated in your company for that purpose.
2. Deactivate the chamber. See
Chapter 7.1, "Activating the Chamber"
3. Disconnect the chamber from the compressed-air supply. See
4. If you need to move the chamber to a different location for maintenance, follow the
"Correct lifting and carrying"
