Communicating with DeviceNet from Another Network

Configuring the DeviceNet Pass-Through Driver

Before you can communicate with the 1771-SDN module via the
Ethernet network, you must configure the DeviceNet pass-through
driver (1771-SDNPT). RSLinx, version 2.10 or higher, is required.

Connect your 1785-ENET module to your Ethernet network. Then
perform the following steps.

Start

RSLinx

From the

Communications

menu, select

Configure Drivers

From the list of

Available Driver Types

select

DeviceNet Drivers

and click on

Add/New
