Clean the TS transfer base
When cleaning the TS transfer base, the analyzer must be in Stand-By status.
The TS transfer base must be cleaned every day to prevent contamination and
deposits, and to ensure that test strips are processed accurately.
1
Open the strip waste container door.
2
Remove the waste container.
3
Loosen the screw on the TS transfer base and pull the base out of the
analyzer.
4
Clean the base under running water. If necessary, wipe it with a cloth or
gauze moistened with a neutral detergent. Wipe the grooves with a cotton
swab. Use a disinfectant if required.
5
Dry the TS transfer base with a lint-free cloth if analysis is to continue
immediately after cleaning.
6
Insert the TS transfer base smoothly to its end position, and ensure it is
positioned correctly.
7
Turn the screw on the base until it locks to secure the base.
Empty the strip waste container
Empty the strip waste container at the end of daily measurements. If more
than 350 strips are measured without emptying the container, a warning
alarm appears. After 400 strips, the analyzer returns to S.Stop status. Empty
the waste container. If the waste container is not emptied, further
measurements are not possible.
Empty the liquid waste tank
Empty the liquid waste tank at the end of daily measurements, or whenever
the water supply tank is refilled.
Do not use acid or alkaline detergents. Do not scratch the surface of the TS transfer
base.
Do not open the strip waste container door during analysis. Otherwise, the analyzer
stops and moves to Stand-By status.
Opening of the strip waste container door resets the counter of processed strips to
zero.
