6.2. Cable replacement procedure
Caution
Make sure the Force Torque Sensor is mounted on the robot when repairing the cable. This allows the o-ring to be well
compressed.
1. Unplug M12 connector between 1m pigtail cable and the 10m cable.
2. Unscrew the sensor cable with a T20 screwdriver (not provided).
3. Clean the contact surface with a dry cloth.
4. Spread the paste supplied on the gasket of the new connector and on the contact surface of the sensor.
5. Insert the cable connector into the sensor.
Tip
You may need to apply light pressure for the connector to seat fully.
6. Secure the connector with the provided screw and tooth lock washer.
7. Wipe off excess paste.
