Sensors
The ARBOTOM
®
-sensors are literally the “brain” of the whole system. Besides the vibrometer they
contain the processing units to digitize and interpret the signals. In practice the sensors are connected
in a line. Therefore, each sensor has two sockets for the connecting cables.
You should note: The user can choose the number of sensors in use. Thus, depending on your task,
you should select the adequate number of sensors.
The sensors are attached to the tree by steel pins via the holding device. At the front you will notice
the shock bolt. While measuring the impulse waves are induced into the tree via the shock bolts.
IMPORTANT: Never hit any other part of the ARBOTOM
®
-sensor except the shock bolt. Otherwise
the sensor may be damaged.
