Number of Sensors:
Number of sensors that will be used for the measurement. Please
note that this information has to be indicated first, changes cannot be
made later on.
Sensor positioning unit:
Unit height and radius difference will be written in cm or inch.
Circular Sensor Positioning:
The following settings are possible:
Absolute
(i)(recommended): Absolute Sensor-Position (oriented
at the circumference of the trunk/branch). This is the easiest way
of input, when a band meter is used.
Difference
(j-i): Distances between the sensors.
You can choose between cm, inch or grad.
Preview angle:
In case you wish to turn the view of the cross-section, please insert
the requested angle. This makes sense, if you want to orient the
graph according to compass direction or other criteria.
Filter:
The measurements can be filtered via the standard deviation,
distribution classes and the range of runtimes.
Minimum/Maximum Velocity:
Shows the minimum and maximum Velocity that will be used by the
system. Normally no data below 50 m/s and above 4000 m/s are to
be expected.
Distribution Analysis:
The data recorded for a sensor pair will be distributed in 10 classes
(covering the whole range of values). The class with the highest
number of values will be selected by the system.
Standard deviation correction: This filter selects values by standard deviation which is multiplied by
the factor chosen by the user. For n=2, all values beyond the double
standard deviation will be omitted. You should not choose a correction
below the single standard deviation.
