15.3. Aligning the zero model and the scanned model. Manual mode
The alignment of the zero model and the scanned one is performed using the
functions available in the
Zero model alignment
group, as well as using the mouse in
the Longitudinal and Cross Section windows.
To align the zero model with the scanned model, follow these steps:
1. If necessary, rotate the zero model 90 degrees vertically by clicking the
Turn
X
button.
2. If necessary, rotate the zero model 90 degrees horizontally by clicking the
Turn Y
button.
3. Press the
Ctrl
key, move the mouse cursor over the contour of the zero
model in the Longitudinal Section window. Press the left mouse button,
perform a "rough" horizontal alignment of the zero model position.
4. Press the
Shift
key, move the mouse cursor over the contour of the zero
model in the Longitudinal Section window. Press the left mouse button,
perform a "rough" vertical alignment of the zero model position.
