5. Troubleshooting
LED Display
LED Display (Problems are shown by a combination of LED Indicators)
Status of Indicator Lights Trouble Cause Solution
Standby power is
not on.
There is a problem with
the power supply or the
main board. Check the power
supply.
Check the connector.
Check the main board.
Lamp error
Lamp went out
during use, or
won't come on.
• Lifetime of the lamp
has ended.
• The rotation of the
color wheel is not
detected.
• The lamp ballast is
defective.
• The temperature
around the lamp
ballast is high.
• Replace the lamp.
• Clean the inside of
the projector.
• Replace the optics
section.
• Replace the lamp
ballast.
(Flashes at 2-second
intervals)
Lamp off error
The projector failed
to switch off the
lamp.
• The processor in the
lamp ballast is
malfunctioning.
• The main processor
is malfunctioning.
Disconnect the power
cord, and then connect
it again.
(Flashes at 1-second
intervals)
Lamp cover error
Power went out
during use, or
power won't come
on.
• The lamp cover is
not properly
attached.
• The lamp cover
open sensor is
defective.
• Check if the lamp
cover is properly
attached.
• Check the lamp
cover open
sensor.
